ABOUT THE SCHOOL

The International School of High Energy Physics (ISHEPAC) aims to provide basic training to beginning graduate students and advanced undergraduates in the fields of Elementary Particle Physics and Cosmology. A serious effort will be made to bring together the best available lecturers and the most motivated and promising students.

Any beginning graduate student or advanced undergraduate is eligible to attend. There is no restriction on nationality, race or gender. Selection will be based on the student's academic record and general educational level. Upon recommendation of the selection committee, a small number of fellowships will be offered to exceptional students who cannot cover travel expenses from other sourses. A larger number of fellowships will be awarded following completion of the course of study, on the basis of overall performance as determined by exams and class participation.
