ACCOMODATION

  • Housing:
    • A small number of furnished studio apartments near the beaches west of Heraklion are available. They have a little kitchen with a small table and the necessary utensils to cook and eat at home, bathroom and two single beds and can in principle accomodate two students each. They are located at a distance of about 3 km from the University with rather regular bus service towards and from the University.

      The rent for these apartments is about 300 Euros per month. So, in case of double occupancy the cost will be 150 Euros per person.

  • Meals:
    • Students of the ISHEPAC can take advantage of the Student Restaurant of the University and have all their meals there for about 150 Euros per month.
    • Otherwise, one may go to the restaurants of the region around the University or downtown. An average meal there costs around 10 Euros.
  • Location:
      Below is a map of the area where the apartments are located.
      Ammoudara is easily reachable from both the airport and the center of Heraklion, either by bus or by taxi. The bus travels on Ammoudara's main road where the windmill-Petousis is an easily recognizable point you will see the windmill!
