INFORMATION
The purpose of this biannual meeting is to bring together string
theorists from the countries of the "old world"
(from the Balkans to India) in order to discuss the most recent
developments in the field.
We also expect to have a small number of external experts from Europe
and USA. The format of the program
will contain several pedagogical overview lectures for young
researchers as well as a workshop session
with seminars given by participating researchers. Participation to the
meeting is by invitation only.

Previous conferences of this series were held in Crete (2001, 2003,
2005, 2009, 2013), Patras (2007) and Milos (2011).
Conference Site
The conference venue is "Vouleutikon" which is a historic building in
the center of Nafplion. The building was a mosque
during the Ottoman times and served as parliament during the early days
of the Greek independent state.

All talks will be held there in the morning and afternoon sessions.
Accommodation
Most participants are expected to stay in various hotels scattered in
the center of Nafplion close to
the conference site. More information will be provided in due course.
Accommodation and meals will cost no more than 100 euros per day.
The cost of each accompanying person will be approximately 50 euros per
day for full board.
Social Activities
There will be an excursion/free afternoon as well as a banquet (to be
specified in due course)
Fees
There will be a conference fee of 150 euros for all participants which
is payable in cash upon arrival.
Accompanying persons need not pay for registration.
