Forword

This is the final workshop organized by the RTN network The quantum structure of spacetime and the geometric nature of fundamental interactions under the FP5 program of the EU. It is also the launching meeting of the EXT program Fundamental Interactions and the Structure of Spacetime operated by Ecole Polytechnique and funded by the EU. The workshop will take place in Kolymbari, from September 5-10 2004.

The previous network meetings took place in Copenhagen (2003), Corfu (2001) and Leuven (2002).

Organization

The workshop will take place in the Orthodox Academy of Crete in Kolymbari and it is organized by the string theory group of the University of Crete and Ecole Polytechnique.
